Woodwork

Whatever condition (extremely poor condition may be more economical to replace - something I will advise on), it can be transformed to look like new again. Doors, frames, cupboards, dado rails, staircases, skirting boards & sills, can all be finished in any colour - gloss, satin, eggshell or even a flat finish can be achieved. Of course, a dark surface can become light or freshened up with stain, oil or varnish.

Dark wood to white - Zinsser B.I.N (2 x coats), Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Plus & top coat Dulux Trade Quick Dry Satinwood PBW
(these 4 x pictures are of bedroom and ensuite bathroom windows for existing client in High Street North, Stewkley)

Bookcase (above), sprayed in Farrow & Ball estate emulsion Cornforth White. Client opted for the less durable option as wanted to exactly match walls and wasn't happy to have an eggshell finish with a 20% sheen level. Bedec primer u/coat then F&B e/e 2 x coats (all sprayed).
Fireplace (left), sprayed in Bedec Aqua Advance Satin Pure Brilliant White - super smooth mantle and a fantastic finish.

Woodwork finished in Bedec Aqua Advance Satin. A durable, quick drying, odour free  and flexible finish that stays white.

Kitchen worktop was sanded, treated with 2 x coats of Zinsser SealCoat, then varnished with 2 x coats of Blackfriars Polyurethane varnish satin (as with any finish on wood, nothing hotter than a cup of tea on the surface for only a brief period).

Window above was in a fairly poor state. Following removal of rotten wood, cleaning, filling (Ronseal, Toupret & Prestonett wood fillers) & sanding a full coat of Zinsser B.I.N was applied, followed by Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Plus, then 2 x coats of Dulux Quick Dry Satinwood Jasmine White.  Ironmongery and black window frame had rust and failed paint removed, sanded, cleaned with Rustoleum thinner, 2 x coats of Rustoleum CombiPrimer Grey then 2 x coats of Rustoleum CombiBlack (see right).
